It can also be used to open or close the doors on hopper bottom trailers used to haul grain. EZ-CRANK is offered either as a complete unit, or as a retrofit attachment. The retrofit unit provides a convenient, cost-effective solution to change your existing crank handle.
Existing crank design makes raising and lowering a trailer a difficult task. Most existing cranks consist of a metal collar crimped to a metal handle. These old-style cranks can rust or bind up for a variety of reasons. When the handles bind for any reason, they no longer turn freely, creating a difficult, time-consuming, labor-intensive process. Unlike traditional cranks, EZ-CRANK minimizes the risk of cuts and other injuries to your hands.
EZ-CRANK improves significantly on existing crank designs, providing a smoother, easier system that greatly eases the effort of handling your trailer. EZ-CRANK is constructed from a solid shaft of aluminum combined with a bearing material collar.
EZ-CRANK can be easily installed by the user. Simply remove the existing spindle where you place your hands and press the EZ-CRANK into the tubing. The EZ-CRANK handle contains a two-step adapter allowing it to work with the tubing on a wide range of existing crank handles. EZ-CRANK can also be custom fitted to your handle, if needed.
